I’ve checked the sound test ingame and there seems to be a lot missing, if the 295 it shows are considered sounds and not music. I don’t know. |

You get the cutoff sounds even when running the game in MAME unfortunately, the board hasn't been 100% reverse engineered yet apparently (according to the error message in MAME at least), so this is the best we have for now which is unfortunate |

@PACNATIC the cutscenes voice clips are impossible. The cutscenes audio files when in motion are all played in BFSTM Streamed audio files, meaning the music, SFX and voice clips are all baked into each streamed audio track instead of having the voice clips loaded and played in sequence individually as wavs. I was really hoping the cutscenes audio in Odyssey was done the similar fashion like how Zelda Skyward Sword did its cutscenes audio files by practically loading individual wav files into the cutscenes, but it’s not really the case with Odyssey which’s very unfortunate… :( I honestly hate that they chose to bake every sound, including voice clips into streamed audio tracks in this game. The better they could’ve done was only bake the music and the miscellaneous (non-voice clips) SFX into the streams, and have the voice clips loaded as individual wavs played in sequence. |

@N1NTENDUDE: I never inferred Tears of the Kingdom with my reply there. By my "redundant" comment, I was referring to the Wii U's page for Breath of the Wild, since all of its sounds were just lower-quality versions of those from the Switch version of Breath of the Wild (this page here). |

I know that it was decided to be redundant to have TotK sounds on here ("Actually, it was decided that it was kinda redundant to have both"), but I've been doing a project that uses BotW/TotK sounds for about a year, and literally no place on the internet has all of TotK's sounds, or even any popular ones. How are people like me going to be able to get, say gloom spawn, phantom ganon, ganondorf, zonaite, the entire depths and sky, zonai shrines, etc? Yeah, the shared sounds are redundant, but there's probably hundreds and hundreds of inaccessible sounds. Also, no, I will not be spending money and learning how to rip sounds, so don't suggest it fellow commenters. By the way, if this comment sounds mad, it's not trying to be. Edit: TotK even has a page, but it literally only has Link's voice files :/ |

@Nick Rich: While it wasn't "corrupted" per se (it was just using an LZMA compression compared to the rest, which as far as I know only 7-Zip is able to decompress), it has been repackaged and should be working now. |

And while we're on the topic of "stolen" sounds, how are you able to tell if someone stole sounds that were already ripped if they're the same sounds from the same game? Neither the person who originally ripped the sound effects nor the person who stole them own the sounds, as they come from the same video game. |
